As we close the 2025–2026 school year, we would like to extend our sincere gratitude to our families for their
District STEAM Festival Draws Large Crowds and Inspires Community Learning
PCSST is a public charter school under the New Jersey Public School System and is fully accredited by the State of New Jersey Department of Education. PCSST educates more than 1,600 students on four campuses; K-1 Campus, 2-3 Campus, 4-7 Campus and 8-12 Campus.

With Ivy League and West Point acceptances over the years, PCSST continues to celebrate students reaching the nation’s most prestigious institutions.

PCSST Lions made history in 2026 with a 13–0 girls championship season and boys back-to-back titles after an undefeated two-year run.

In March 2025, PCSST’s robotics team made history by becoming the first PCSST team to compete at the VEX Robotics World Championship in Texas, launching a new era of innovation and achievement.

First performed in 2024, Frozen Jr. became a magical milestone for PCSST and the start of an ongoing tradition of creativity and teamwork.

The mission of the Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology is to provide a responsive educational model that will empower all students, through a standards – equity based academic program founded on expectations for high achievement that will graduate literate, responsible, self-directed persons who have the core knowledge and skills needed to be successful, contributing members of society.
The mission of the PCSST articulates a public school model that promotes education reform in that it is responsive to the needs and hopes of the stated goals and objectives adopted by the State Board of Education in a strategic plan that, during its first four years of implementation, launched major initiatives and reforms of the education system in New Jersey.
